AGC Journeyman Upgrade Program (JUP) - LEARN WHILE YOU EARN

The AGC Apprenticeship program has played a critical role in developing our Apprentices into Journeyman.  They’ve gained the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to be successful in the field, and we want to make sure that through the AGC Journeyman trust, Journeyman can further their education and commitment to their trade while helping to advance in their careers.

The AGC is proud to introduce the Journeyman Upgrade Program (JUP). The program commenced on July 1, 2014, and allows journeymen from AGC Apprenticeship member contractors to access an extensive variety of training and education courses available through the AGC. Each Journeyman that has completed 150 hours worked within the fiscal year starting July 1, 2014 – June 30, 2015 has up to $2500 in funds that can be applied to their continued education.

Journeymen are encouraged to enroll in these classes to increase their education, increase their value to the contractor, and further their careers within the construction industry.
